2024 Virginia Healthcare Emergency Preparedness Summit

The Virginia Hospital & Healthcare Association hosted the 2024 Virginia Healthcare Emergency Preparedness Summit at The Westin – Richmond on April 24. The theme of the Summit was “Human Caused Incidents” and it brought together speakers, clinicians, emergency response specialists, and other professionals for shared learning and networking. Featured speakers covered a wide range of topics including the health care response to the 2023 East Palestine, OH train derailment, how cyberterrorism and cyberattacks threaten health care, chemical emergencies, human trafficking, and more.
